This was a birthday present for my oldest son, he is autistic loves dinosaurs and putting things together. This was the prefect gift. There isn't anything to not like about it. Yes assembling can be hard the first time putting them together. The excitement was worth it.Threse dinosaurs are detachable with screws they also come with afew extra screws. Screwdrivers are included manual and a automatic screwdriver that does not come with batteries. You'll need to buy two triple A batteries. I bought the Amazon brand batteries. They work just as well as entergizer.Bought as gift! Loves itOnly reason for 4 stars was because for a 3 year old, having to put pieces together in just the correct order is pretty tough. Like when it came to attaching the body circles to the head circles before screwing them together and then 1 even had a plastic disc type shape that has to be put between the pieces to be held in place inside the grooves inside both sides of the head along with needing to attach the body to the rod type pieces before completely closing both halves. It was just a little much for my younger one to follow. So we put them together for him. The tools work good. The drill doesn't get the screws very tight, like first few times you start moving a body piece, the screw starts loosening itself. Definitely want to torque them with the hand tools. With regular play, the pieces still unscrew themselves. The toys are a great concept to a child who can follow picture instructions but not to just turn loose with a drill, a bunch of plastic screws and dino halves with a child who cannot understand the concept of instructions. Ages should be changed up a bit.The box said for ages 3 to 5. I got this for my 4 yr old nephew. Supposedly, the child is to be the one assembling these toys. Comes with a plastic screw driver. It's supposed to be fun. Except it's not. There is actually a certain process to which parts go on first that kids will find frustrating. My sister ended up carefully reading the directions and following the steps while my nephew squirmed impatiently (because he's only 4 and didn't understand why he couldn't have his dinosaur until mommy finished fixing it). She also said that there were more pieces than there appeared to be on the box. My nephew LOVED the dinosaurs. He plays with them alot. But I would recommend parents putting it together first unless your kid is either as smart as a 10 yr old, or VERY patient.My grandson and I had fun putting them together and then mixing parts. Very fun toy!Got this for my 4 year old nephew. Sure he’s really rough with his toys as most boys are so I feel like it’s not tough or sturdy enough to stand up to the kind of pressure kids will put it under but that’s my opinion. Pieces keep falling or breaking off. My nephew LOVES the drill and always tryin to drill something and it was easy to assemble too
