As well as details about the experience of this "Renewed" item purchase.What can it do?1st - This combination coffee system literally does everything well. Doesn't matter what I throw at it, Every coffee comes out great. I'm impressed with its consistency. 2 TBS of your favorite medium ground flavor, for a single or large cup of joe. 3 TBS for a large travel mug...or 5 for a carafe, and every size in between. Easy and delicious. Add syrups or don't, still a great cup of coffee. Want frothed milk or cream, its got you covered. Specialty drinks, yup..it's all there.2nd - TEA, glorious TEA. The "Over Ice" function is amazing, make a carafe in just a few minutes, fully infused and amazing. I'm in love with the pro options i now have. Ever wish you could have a great tasting lightly flavored beverage, but without so much sugar or none at all...well, the infused iced teas are awesome, and i'm in total control.3rd - It makes every kind of coffee house coffee imaginable, as well as all the major and minor tea preparations. Just go on to youtube for recipes.4th - The Glass Carafe!! This is amazing because the manufacturer offers a more expensive version that comes with a double wall thermos style carafe, and i'm sure it is great, But, I can't understand why i would want that over this one. The reason being that this version with the Glass Carafe includes a warming tray, that has automatic and manual controls. The more expensive version ditches the warming tray entirely. No thanks. If you are like me and want complete control of warming that full or half carafe throughout the day, this is the one you probably want. And at a substantial savings too.What is "renewed"?I wondered that too until i purchased it. Basically this is a refurbished product, lightly used if at all (I couldn't tell that mine was not new other than the slightly generic box it came well packaged in). It comes with "almost" everything the retail product includes, let me explain.It includes:1st - Main unit with Glass Carafe and Water Bin.2nd - Removable side froth-er3rd - Tea Filter and Filter Basket4th - Smallish B&W printed manualWhat's missing from the retail version?1st - Handy scoop2nd - Coffee filter3rd - Color Manual and Recipe BookSo why would i buy this instead?1st - Maybe the fact that it is substantially cheaper than the retails version. (Yet it includes everything you need).2nd - The Scoop (Basically it's a TBS on one side and 2 TBS on the other) You don't need it. However, if you want it, You can do what I did, just call Ninja directly, they sent me one for a couple dollars. Easy peasy...but it literally is not needed.3rd - The Coffee filter, Honestly, I thought I needed this, and I even had Ninja send me one for like 10 bucks. Truth is, i simply don't use it. It is much easier to use a paper coffee filter 50 for a $1. No mess, no cleanup. This seller realizes this and only sends what is really used and needed. I couldn't agree more.4th - The Instruction Manual. You get a complete and accurate printed manual, just not the glossy color one. I used the manual once, didn't need it again. Served its purpose just fine.5th - Recipe book. Well i just go on youtube...plenty of reviews/recipes there.I cleaned the accessories and water bin thoroughly before use, but only because of my own OCD, they literally all looked and work as new.The seller's description would do better to include some of this info, but i can attest to the validity of the product and the "Renewed" purchase experience. It was perfect, all original concerns were lack of knowledge on my part. In fact i just bought another for my brother and his family so they can enjoy it as much as my family does. Get one...hit walmart and grab a few of their inexpensive medium ground coffee flavors to try, maybe a syrup or two...some cream, and some whipped cream (from a can). And a bunch of TEA flavors, and enjoy your time with this great tool. I do.
