The puzzle had a few cute animal shaped pieces. It was bNot difficult for my elder mom to put together. I liked that it was round. I was disappointed that although I uploaded a glossy photo, it arrived with a Matt finish.I ordered this after reading the positive reviews, I should have read the negative ones because they were much more accurate of our experience. I had the puzzle made for my sister-in-law who is a puzzle enthusiast and I knew it might be a difficult one because of her Doxie’s coloration but it wasn’t difficult in the way I had imagined. The puzzle comes in sheets that are alphabetized in sections that are 6 pieces wide by 10 pieces long which at first I thought was strange. You have to spend a lot of time taking the puzzle sections apart. Very quickly, we realized that there is very little variance in the size and shape of the pieces which meant that the wrong pieces could be easily put together without realizing it. It became ridiculously difficult until I finally turned all of the pieces upside down, put them back into their alphabetized groups and put them together by how the letters were placed on each piece which was MUCH easier than by the photo I had ordered. My sister-in-law gave up and I finished it for her. It’s a cute puzzle but we will never, ever do it again. Absolutely not fun. If I had wanted to do an alphabet puzzle, I would have bought something that was much more entertaining. Also, it showed up in a cheap plastic bag with a poor quality picture and no gift message that should have been included.This puzzle was a gift for my Granddaughter. She loved the animal shaped pieces. The round shape did make more difficult, but she got it done. It was a well made puzzle.
