We sent birthday cake Explosion box as a gift and it was such an excitement for my mother. When I found these, I was excited to buy them. We have included them in several gifts for others. It is so fun watching people's expressions and giggles.Shipped quickly. Looks great. However, I ordered well in advance. So, I have not used. ?would buy again.I wasn't very confident ordering these because of some of the reviews, but I was very please with the variety that was delivered! With a mixed lot you never know what you are going to get. I was also worried that these wouldn't fly well after sitting for a few hours but they did great! Sat for over 24 hours and still had flight. I only needed a handful so I am excited to have extras on hand to gift on other occasions.This is a fantastic idea, and it would indeed be a great item to slip into cards and what not, but they don't really fly as much as nose dive into the ground very, very fast. If there was a way to control the speed of how the tension of the rubber bands unwind just a tiny bit this would be such a great item, especially for kids. Right now it's a bit disappointing.I put these in gifts so they would fly out. It was so fun to watch people’s reactions.The butterflies don't really fly "up", they nose dive immediately upon release. My cats love them! And yes, wind, wind, wind. But concept is cute and I'm confident my grands will enjoy them when opening Christmas gifts.I found a few that didn't stay stuck together. I am trying a small staple to keep the wings attached.I surprised my grandchildren by putting them in a book. They loved them. We spent the next hour flying them around. The 6 year old and 9 year old were able to wind them up but the 3 year old could not. I wound it up and had her hold it to release it in the air. They are very sturdy and held up well with us continuously flying them. I plan to put these in Christmas cards I send to my older grandchildren along with a check.The description states you get a variety of colours/designs but every single butterfly was the exact same, no variety at all. Plus winding the very first one and the wings fell off, very cheaply made. Very disappointed, returned to Amazon.A disappointing purchase. They are all exactly the same, plain blue. Not colourful.These work really well and are perfect for what I want them for. My only fault is that there was Not a variety of colours like stated in the description (only two)All one style. Not various as described in the detail about the item.
