It’s a pretty scooter but trying to get it to go is a problem.The instructions appear to have been written by an individual - or committee - for whom English is not their first, or even second, language. Many of the instructions simply make no sense. In addition, they are written in #4 font, and the only way to read them was to take a photo and enlarge it section by section on the phone. We are still unsure regarding the recharging process.The jury is out of how well it works. It was beyond our 6 year old recipient. The process of moving from self-propelled to motor is difficult and requires some strength - an adult did ok, a 9 year old had difficulty.I have 11 years old daughter and this electric scooter was perfect for her.Unlike other electric scooters that my sons have, this is lightweight for my daughter to lift and/or carry.A quick and easy folding allows transporting even in small car's trunk easy and even the handle bar's height can be adjusted to accommodate when storing/traveling as well as for older and younger kids.This electric scooter has very simple design. It doesn't have a throttle that you activate with your hand but rather a foot pedal where you step on and the motor will engage when you reach a certain speed automatically but the top speed is less than 4 MPH so it's fun for my daughter without being too fast and scary.When you step off the foot stand or step on the back break to slow down, the motor will be turned off for safety, which is great for motor skill because sometimes kids don't let go of the hand throttle at high speed and they can get hurt.Finally, the color is vibrant and pretty without looking too much like electric scooter. You can't really tell this is electric scooter because of simple design without hand throttle, hand break and heavy foot stand. When the battery runs out, it will be just like any other scooter.5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend this for young kids who love to ride scooters.My family loves to scooter around the neighborhood and parks, but our youngest get tires at time with her regular scooter. So we got her this electric scooter so she can keep up.She absolutely loves the color. And step on toggle to gas is more intuitive than twist handle throttling. It does need to reach a certain speed before it can be activated. She can reach it in 2 or 3 kicks.The scooter came already assembled. Just need to unfold, charge, and go. It did take some trail and error to figure out how to engage the motor. One thing that helped us was to put the scooter down on its side, then press gas and manually spin the wheel. You’ll noticed when it starts picking up and get a better sense on beeping notifications and what they mean.Overall it’s a pretty easy to use scooter for my 5 year old. The speed is perfect for her age.It’s okay for my 7 year old daughter who doesn’t like fast things. The scooter goes about the same speed as if she was kicking, maybe a little bit faster. She enjoys it. However, the front wheel is not aligned with the handle bars and it’s near Impossible to straighten out. I tried everything, even loosened up the jam nuts, still wouldn’t budge, for that I give it a three star.My niece loves it, the color especially and I love the free perks it came with, (elbow and knee pads) safety first!!!!!
