Son had fun but they are easy to dig out and made short work of whole box of them. Very dusty after but clean up was shortMy grandson loved digging the dinosaurs out of these eggs. Just be sure to soak them for 5 minutes as directed before trying to dig out the dinosaurs. We did the activity outside in the sandbox which minimized the mess and also helped make it seem like we were actually doing a real "archaeology dig". These are an awesome toy for kids who like something a little more interactive!Got this as a party activity for my 5yr old and his friends. They all loved it!!! Even the adults loved it. It does make a huge mess BUT we put down a disposable table cloth and then just wrapped and tossed to make clean up a breeze! Definitely worth the money and will buy again for my daughters birthday this summerGreat gift for grandchildren.I wanted to wait for a weekend to open up this toy, but my son opened the box and when he saw “Dinosaur eggs!” Inside it he wanted to do one right away. It took him about 15 minutes to do one egg (he’s 3), 15 minutes of quiet time for me! Yes! Now, this activity is messy and I suggest doing it outside or somewhere with easy to clean floors. Next time, I’ll try soaking an egg for 5 minutes in water to make it easier to peel and hopefully less messy. But overall, this toy is well worth money spent on it.I was hosting a sleep over party for four 8yr old kids (two boys and two girls) and one of the things I bought to keep my kids busy was this nice 12 egg kit. All of four kids really liked it. They enjoyed opening it and them read descriptions of each dynos and played with it. It was enough toys for all.I made them to open these eggs outside as it's kind of messy process.
